Westwood Studios seeks self motivated team player with hands on experience of communications software development for multi-player games applications.

Primary responsibilities include the design and implementation of communications software to run over WAN, LAN and modem links for use with multi-player games. Experience coding Internet applications in a UNIX or Windows NT environment is a distinct plus. Experience doing this within a multi-player real-time game environment is ideal.


Requirements:

• 3 years C/C++ experience
• 2 years assembly language experience
• Familiarity with Solaris 2.5, Windows NT, Windows 95 & DOS
• Experience of Intel 80X86 and Sun Sparc CPU's
• In-depth understanding of WAN, LAN and modem communications protocols and systems
• Experience with real-time applications
